Last edition to the Nan Belegorn Charter was 2002.

Changes to our charter that was voted on 2/23/06 are thus as I can remember:

Members from here on must be of sixteen years of age except for those who have now been grandfathered into the realm.

The rank of mercenary has been struck from our charter leaving all active participants in our realm as citizens.

All council members/candidates must pass a heralds exam.

The council position of Public Relations has been changed to UNI Club Representative. In the Charter for the UNI Belegarth Club, this position is the same as club President, but its powers and duties to the realm are limited to council member. This position is elected by the members of the UNI Belegarth club only.

The UNI Club Representative is given the power to appoint an alternate representative. This position is noted as Vice President in the UNI Belegarth Club Charter. The Duties of the Vice President of the UNI Belegarth Club is to act as the representative of the UNI Belegarth Club on the council in the case of his/her absence.

The council position of Inter-realm Liason/Event Organizer has been limited to Inter-realm Liason. The responsibilities of Event Organizer is to be decided on a event to event basis.

A consistent electoral process of council members will resume with all council seats open in March and September. For each election, all council members will be assumed candidates unless otherwise stated. Unchallenged candidates will automatically take the position.

The title of Realm Champion has officially been dissovled from the charter (Its only been like 4 years since we've had one).

so...who is going to make the herald's exam? hopefully someone who knows the rules

I believe we're going to get heralding exams from both Kyrian and Izareth and look at using one (or a combo) of those.
