Welcome back for another exciting semester at UNI! So we are not filling up your inbox with emails, please see these four messages
to pass along to student organizations:
1) Make sure your organizations information is up to date

3) New ways to promote your organizations events
4) Upcoming events from the Student Leadership Center
1) MAKE SURE YOUR ORGANIZATIONS INFORMATION IS UP TO DATE:
Student Organization advisors and students leaders are now able to make changes to their student organizations information listed on the online database. This database is a key link between organizations and possible new members as well as a way for important updates and information get passed along to you. Attached is a word document that will assist you making changes that may be need to your organizations listing. If you should have any questions, please direct them to Pam Creger
pamela.creger@uni.edu or 273-2683
2) FUNDING STILL AVAILABLE FOR STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS:
If your organization is looking for additional funding sources to "meet ends meet" please consider applying for funds available through the PEPSI FUND. This fund seeks to provide a unique, and flexible funding source to UNI student organizations, and to supplement those monies already available from other sources (e.g. NISG, Intercollegiate Academics Fund, etc.). To that end, the fund's criteria promote unique and innovative programming, and the idea that requests will be evaluated based upon merit rather than a strict set of prescriptive guidelines. Some general goals of the fund include maximum dispersion of monies across organizations and promoting cooperation among student organizations in programming efforts.

campus as well as to Cedar Falls. The board serves as a great medium to inform students, faculty, staff and the public about events and
meetings that student organizations and departments may be having. If you wish to display a mesage on the bulletin board,
email
uni-tv@uni.edu. Include the following information:
Name of Organization/Department
Event/Message
Date of event and when you wish to cancel the message.
Secondly, Northern Iowa Student Government is taking submissions for advertising on the public monitors in Maucker Union. Recognized
student organizations and university departments may advertise events for up to two weeks at a time. The required format for playback is
a still, 1024x768 (4:3 aspect ratio) frame in JPEG format.
