We should probably make the URL go directly to the forums.

http://www.nanbelegorn.com/forum

As for pictures, poke around the national board for some. There's actually a sample one up there right now in the general board we can use.

I like the idea of using the one on the national board. If we could add some contact info and our website then we'd be set.

I ended up taking some pictures and fashioning them into a word document, it was easier to format.

Let me know what you guys think before five o'clock and if necessary i can make changes before bringing a copy to practice.

May have to alter your page setup settings for a half-inch all the way around.

I'd make the font something more standard, it's a little hard to read, espeically for people who're just giving it a glance as they walk past.

Why not papyrus? I find Papyrus is easy to read yet still looks pretty damned spiffy. If you do flyers, will you be putting them on campus, and if so I'd be willing to help with that. Maybe even put one up in Perkins if at all possible? I have a friend that works there.

Papyrus would be fantastic, I just don't have it on my computer. If anyone else has some fonts that would work better, try 'em out and see what you think.

Papyrus can be easy to read, but some people have real difficulty reading it (as with most seraph fonts), especially when moving. Since these flyers are going to be read while people are on the move, it is better to sacrifice the asthetics of the font type for easy readability. It's best to stick with something solid and noticable, like Times New Roman or Impact, so that people can easily read the flyers as the walk past rather than ignore it because it doesn't register.

TNR is the roxor font. it kicks all other fonts to the curb and stomps the ever loving shit out of them. especially the uber crappy fonts like helvetica and especially geneva (which is for dirty commie pinko hippies).

In short:

TNR=the awesome
All other Fonts=the suck

Actually, Times New Roman isn't that great for posters. You need something bold like Impact or Gothic Century to get attention while still being legible. Times New Roman is too weak of a font to get attention, even when it's BOLD.

Arial would actually be a good font to use, just make sure it's BOLD. This site is in Arial because it's easy and quick to read.

Did anyone else notice that's a 'pre-split' photo?

Long story. Ask one of the people who's been around a long time at practice if you want the details.

Ask me if you really want to know. I've done some reading about the positions on both sides.

I'm going to need some money from the realm fund to make these copies unless ya'll want to wait until next Wednesday when I get payed. Then were going to need to figure out where to post them which will be addressed at the realm meeting next Tuesday.

Sonus, if you have the fliers on computer format, I could print them off at school and bring them down with us this weekend. Of course I'd have to get them by tonight so I could do it tommorow.

There ya go. I'm not sure how many copies we want to make though. I'm sure there are a helluva lot of bulliten boards at UNI where we can put these up.
