Doing this again, I lost my original event list but it think I had, quarter staff American Gladiator style, under hand florintine, punch and dagger, and duel non thrown javelin. I though I might of had a fifth style but can remember. If anyone has any other style idea fell free to suggest it. The idea behind the ones I picked are they are completely legal on the field but are the least effective techniques I could think of. Underhand red or glaive my be injuries waiting to happen, and no rocks because Wick has that tournament already at EQ. Ideas I'm rolling over in my head are 12" florintine,12" sword and buckler, and super short flail (a pommel with a chain and ball). I have some idea for the "talent" section but I don't want to announce them on the board because I want them to a surprise to the contestants PM if you idea or tell me in person. We will not be using any events from the previous tournament. I already have some prizes and plan to give one to each contestant, and have the champions plaque. One of the prizes I got is actually pretty nice, though I may go get the most ridicules prizes I can find for fun. Prizes could be what ever I find dumpster diving on college move out day. 6 contestants will be hand pick at the event for quality control purposes. I will need a belligerent panel of judges and will give them score cards (Jesus?, Derian?), but the audience will decide winners for the "talent" sections. Scoring will be 3 points for 1st, 2 points for 2nd, and 1 point for 3rd in each event. Lobo won the first on be constantly scoring points in every event though I don't think he ever got first, compared to Fox who got 1st in at least 3 events but didn't place in the rest. Lighting is either going to be tiki torches if available or flashlights, I don't want to use my cars headlights again.
