I found out that remote linkage of avatars works, so if you've got one you can't live without, email it to me (in teh profile) and I'll email you a link you can use for remote linking.

I use a friend of mine's forum that he constructed like, years ago and kind of abandoned to upload pics, gifs, and other files. He's got like, three gigs of space, so I can give anyone a remote link as well. I wondered why the hell no one here had any cool avatars or signatures yet. Guess I'll make myself the first. Edit: By the way, I love the restrictions you guys made. 200 x 200 and a 1 mb limit makes the bad-ass gif possibilites fairly limitless. Thanks.

All you do is host it, then you copy/paste the URL and voila, instant avatar. If you want email it to me and I'll put it up for you, give you the URL, and you can C/P it and be done.
